Congratulations to our HS and MS runners for an excellent first meet!  The course was challenging, atmosphere energetic, and your athletes brought their A-game, so exciting! 

The middle school girls brought home the overall win with our five scorers totaling 49 points. A Cheeseman (1st), Ka Moore (2nd), Ke Moore (4th), N. Stroud (25th),C. Crumpler (28th), K. Taylor (43rd), and M. Owens (46th) brought excellent energy and focus to the meet and were confident from the training they put in throughout the summer; they walked away with a great team win! 

Like the girls, the MS boys raced with purpose and focus and finished 4th as a team.  The boys competing were: C. Young (17th), J. Jenson (20th), 

L. Reed(26th), H. Lowry (27th), C.Collins (30th), C. Beck (59th), T. Connel (82nd), P. McGaughey (87th), C. King (96th) J. Lee (97th), S. Mallette (98th), P. Walsh (99th), and G. Haynes (101). 

Our HS girls showed their tenacity and strong determination on the course as well.  Watching them go after goals and achieving them was great to watch.  J. Lloyd (5th), K. Makens (6th), A. Tucker (16th), and A. Carter (21st), represented FWC excellently.  

On the HS boys side, newcomer J Stephens (49th) lead the team in his first-ever HS race. We had a nice pack, M.Starks (61st), J.Ringo (64th), J. Deitchman (69th), B. Stroud (87th), T. Haynes (89th), F. Biles (93rd), and J Ringo (101st), who rounded out our team for a solid start to the season and a 10th place team finish.
