John joined the Fort Worth Christian School Board of Trust in 2016. John is a Chief Financial Officer for a Hispanic grocery store chain and is a CPA with over 28 years of experience working with public and private equity owned companies. This experience has equipped him in formulating and implementing long term operational and financial strategies. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trust and the Executive Committee. John is also a member of the Finance and Building and Ground Committees. For fun, John enjoys being involved in his children’s activities and extending to others the virtues of being a Texan. John is married to Leslie Feray and they have a son, Jack, who is a senior at FWC and a daughter who attends Baylor University. “We chose FWC for the opportunity to have our son taught and mentored by a family of believers (teachers, coaches, and administrators) who really know and value him. In addition, we believe FWC’s academic curriculum and extracurricular activities are preparing him well for life beyond high school.

Denise has enjoyed the opportunity to serve in various areas on the FWC campus including being a Room Mom in the Elementary School, a helper in the Cardinal Store, and serving on the Parent Teacher Organization Board for six years before joining the Fort Worth Christian School Board of Trust in 2014. She is currently serving as the Vice Chair of the Board of Trust, the Chair of the Spiritual and Cultural Excellence Committee, and is a member of the Governance Committee for New Trustees. Denise and her husband Dean have two boys. Walker graduated from Fort Worth Christian in 2018 and Dennis is in his junior year. The boys started attending Fort Worth Christian in 2007 upon a recommendation of the school from a friend. "We came initially so our boys would have a safe Christian environment in which they could thrive. We stayed because we found that and much more as we fell in love with the people and the community." Denise is an avid fan of whatever sports her sons are playing and can often be found with her camera photographing her favorite Cardinals.

Rachel joined the Fort Worth Christian School Board of Trust in 2017. Rachel is an attorney and Human Resources consultant who frequently works with nonprofit organizations and nonprofit Boards and currently serves as the Chair of the School’s Governance Committee. As a graduate of Harding Academy and Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, she is passionate about the vital role of Christian education in training children to live a life of faith and service to the community and world at large. For fun, Rachel enjoys endurance sports and has finished multiple marathons and triathlons, including the New York City Marathon and five Half Ironman races.

Cal is a Fort Worth Christian alum and was valedictorian of the class of 1998. Cal owns a CPA practice in Colleyville and joined the Board of Trust in 2017. Currently he serves as the chair of the Finance Committee. Cal is father to Savannah Smallwood, fourth grade, and Connor Smallwood, first grade. He and his wife, Sarah, decided to enroll Savannah in the spring semester of her second grade school year after frustrations with the public school approach to education. Since then, they have watched their children thrive in a much better learning environment and one where they are truly known and loved.

Billy Bob joined the Fort Worth Christian School Board of Trust in 2016. Billy Bob is Global Head of Field Operations and Enablement for Pivotal Software, a publicly traded enterprise software company. With over twenty years of experience in helping the largest organizations in the world fight complacency and use technology as a catalyst for innovation, Billy Bob understands the challenges in preserving the best of the past while advancing towards a bolder vision for the future. Billy Bob is married to Kelly Brigmon and has four children, including Hannah Brigmon who is a senior at FWC. "We chose FWC for Hannah when she was entering 7th grade because neighbors told us that the FWC community was special. Hannah's classmates welcomed her with hugs on the first day and she has thrived in the FWC environment ever since. Mr. Cheeseman's relentless focus on strengthening alignment between the Board, the faculty, the students, and parents is setting up FWC to flourish for years to come."
Megan joined the Fort Worth Christian Board of Trust in 2018. Megan is a licensed financial professional who works currently works as a manager in the financial services industry and has experience with business management, property improvement and sales, and investing. She achieved her Bachelor degree from the University of Texas in Arlington and carries 4 financial licenses. She will bring her education and experience to serve on both the Building and Grounds and Finance Committees. She has three sons who attend Fort Worth Christian; Hector in 5th grade, Luke in 1st grade, and Abel in preschool. "We started at FWC when my oldest was in 2nd grade. Coming to Fort Worth Christian proved to be nothing short of transformational. All of my sons are happier, more fulfilled, and better young men for being part of this great school and community of faith. We pray everyday that God will do great things through FWC and yet I still can't help but be in awe when I see those great things happen and more. Our Father is so good! Scott joined the Fort Worth Christian School Board of Trust in 2017. Scott is a mechanical engineer focused on key account management and business development for the Trane Company. Scott’s primary customers are the K-12 and Higher education markets. He currently serves as the Chair of the School’s Building and Grounds Committee and is also a member of the Spiritual and Cultural Excellence Committee. As a graduate of California State University, Sacramento, he understands the vital role of Christian education in training children to live a life of faith and service to the community and world at large. For fun, Scott enjoys golfing and traveling with his family. Scott is married to Barbara Frechette and they have two daughters who attend FWC; Haley Frechette is a senior and Payton Frechette is a freshman. “We chose FWC for the opportunity to further surround ourselves with faith based parents and faculty which not only helps our children deepen their relationship with Him, but also, us as parents.”

Tim joined the Fort Worth Christian School Board of Trust in 2017. Tim is an Optometrist and Vice President of Clinical Services for Vision Group, a LASIK and Cataract company with offices throughout the US. He currently serves on the Spiritual and Cultural Excellence and Development Committees on the FWC Board of Trust. Tim enjoys all sporting activities with his family, including backpacking throughout the Sierra Nevada and Appalachian mountains. Tim is married to Cindy Giles, a successful real estate agent, and they have a son, Evan, who is a freshman at FWC. Tim and Cindy also have 3 older children as well as 5 grandchildren. They chose FWC for the opportunity to have their son taught and mentored by a family of believers (teachers, coaches, and administrators) who know, love, and value Evan.

Sarah joined the Fort Worth Christian School Board of Trust in August 2018 and will serve as the Chair of the Development Committee in addition to serving on the Spiritual and Cultural Excellence Committee. Sarah’s work experience includes Group Sales Manager at the Fort Worth Zoo, Account Executive at Westcott Communications, and Associate Director of Alumni Relations at her alma mater, TCU. More recently, she has been a stay-at-home-mom to Justin, FWC class of 2018, and Grace, a current freshman, and served in various volunteer roles. She and her husband, Kyle, chose FWC because they wanted a school to partner with them in teaching the truth of the gospel, as well as a biblical worldview in all areas—education, athletics, and extra-curricular. Sarah is passionate about helping students find their identity in Jesus Christ and claim their faith as their own. Sarah co-leads a Bible study in the ladies ministry at Hillside Community Church, where she and Kyle also lead a small group. She loves working out, reading, and listening to music.

Joe Don joined the Fort Worth Christian School Board of Trust in 2018. Joe Don is an attorney focusing on healthcare law currently serving as Associate General Counsel at Air Medical Group Holdings. Joe Don serves on the Spiritual and Cultural Excellence and Governance committees. After graduating from Abilene Christian University, he received his law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law. Joe Don is committed to faith-based education with a Christian worldview. Joe Don and his wife, Jamie (Bankes) Ridgell FWC class of 1996, have three kids at FWC: Anna is in 7th grade, Andrew is in 5th grade, and Austin is in 2nd. The Ridgell family attends The Hills Church. For fun, Joe Don enjoys reading, spending time with his family on the water (skiing or fishing), traveling, or eating pizza and watching a movie.

David has been an active member of Fort Worth Christian Board of Trust since 2015. David has worked in sales with Medline Industries for the past 25 years, holding many keys sales and management roles. Through these many diverse jobs he has gained a high level of experience in change management especially working with groups with a wide range of diverse backgrounds. “Fort Worth Christian has been a powerful role within our family for the last 17 years. I have been married to my best friend, Stacie, for 24 years we have two sons Michael, FWC Class of 2015 and Matthew FWC Class of 2019”. Outside of work David spends many hours helping with FWC events, as an active Member in the Keller Lions Club, and mentoring young sales professionals.
